Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by Sleep Restore to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chain for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

2. Our Commitment

Sleep Restore has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or supply chain.

We are committed to: 

• Treating all workers with dignity and respect, and ensuring safe and fair working conditions.
• Complying with all applicable employment laws, including minimum wage and working hours legislation.
• Prohibiting discrimination on any grounds, including nationality, gender, religion, age, or ethnicity.
• Ensuring our suppliers meet the same standards we hold ourselves to.
• Continuously improving our practices as our business grows.

3. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes manufacturers and distributors of mattresses and sleep products, logistics and delivery providers, and technology and service partners that support our operations. We recognise that supply chains in the manufacturing sector can carry risk of labour exploitation, and we take our responsibility in this area seriously.

We seek to work with suppliers who share our values and who demonstrate a commitment to ethical labour practices. Where possible, we prefer suppliers who hold recognised ethical certifications or who are subject to independent audit programmes.

4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

To identify and address the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain, we undertake the following:

• Assessing new suppliers against ethical and labour standards criteria before entering into contracts.
• Asking key suppliers to confirm their compliance with applicable labour laws and their own modern slavery obligations.
• Reviewing supplier relationships periodically, with a focus on higher-risk areas of the supply chain such as overseas manufacturing.
• Raising awareness of modern slavery risks within our team, so that concerns can be identified and reported.

We acknowledge that, as a growing business, our due diligence processes are evolving. We are committed to strengthening these processes over time, including through more formal supplier assessments as our supply chain develops.

5. Labour Rights and Ethical Standards

Sleep Restore expects all parties we work with to uphold the following standards:

• No use of forced, bonded, or compulsory labour of any kind.
• No use of child labour. Workers must be of the legal minimum age for employment in their country, and in any case no younger than 15 years of age, consistent with ILO Convention No. 138.
• Workers must be free to leave employment and must not have their identity documents withheld.
• Working hours must not exceed legal limits and workers must receive at least the applicable minimum wage.
• Workers must not be subjected to physical, psychological, or verbal abuse or harassment.
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining must be espected.

We encourage anyone — whether an employee, supplier, or member of the public — who has concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Sleep Restore or our supply chain to raise them with us. Reports can be made confidentially to:

7. Training and Awareness

We ensure that those within our business who are responsible for procurement, supplier management, and operations are aware of the risks of modern slavery and the indicators to look out for. As our team grows, we are committed to providing appropriate training to ensure that modern slavery awareness is embedded in our culture and decision-making.

This statement will be reviewed and updated annually. We are committed to continuously improving our approach and will reflect developments in our practices in future statements.
